Community Service:
For the Sake of Others
We seek to share the freedom we find in Christ by serving others in our community.
St. Francis Center: First Saturday morning of every month.

Community Service

During the past year, members of our congregation continued to provided time and energy to serve the less fortunate of our community.  In addition to the many individual efforts at a variety of charitable and civic organizations, we continued to serve as a group at the St. Francis Center, a day-center for Denver's homeless, and at the semi-annual 9 Cares/Colorado Shares food drives benefiting the Douglas/Elbert Task Force.  In total, 30 of us participated in these group efforts, contributing a total of 220 hours.  Also, they and others participated in a special food drive for the Task Force to help cover a temporary food shortfall.  Additional volunteers are always welcome.  If you would like to participate or have a suggestion for an additional community service activity, please contact Joe Clements at 303-660-9033 or jmcmsm@aol.com.
