Formation:
Children

Each Sunday the preacher gives a children's sermon that ties in with the Scripture readings, sermon, and songs for the day.  After the children's sermon, the children process behind a jr. cross to chapel.  In chapel, they learn the liturgy at an age appropriate level: read publicly with a children's Bible, offer prayers, and take up an offering.  They return to receive communion with their parents.
Children's Church is led by Deacon Erin Cook, with other volunteers.  Erin has extensive ministry experience, is in process to become a deacon, and is currently enrolled in Denver Seminary.

Education involves more than passing on information.  For personal change, transformation, to grow into the full stature of Christ, something broader is needed.  Formation is education including information, and soul training activities, in community.  And, all this happens seeking the Holy Spirit, the power of God.

Children's Chapel is held each Sunday for children age three through the fourth grade.
